J. D. is the Head Rowing Coach for Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky, one of the top 20 high schools in America for athletics. The program was founded in 2022 and J. D. was hired in 2025 to help grow the program and bring it to the Saint X standard.
J. D. has coached multiple national champion high school and Under-23 crews. He has also had athletes compete in the U-23 and Senior World Championships, be recruited to every major collegiate rowing program, and become high school and collegiate coaches themselves.
